The purpose of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association is to promote and encourage
the philosophy of Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman's Schulwerk ( Music for Children ).
Music is a living force, vital to the activities of every child.
The opportunity to create speech, movement, and music in an ordered framework
with the guidance of trained teachers should be made available to every child.
The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of AOSA seeks to provide teachers with inservice training to master
the goals of AOSA through workshops featuring outstanding national and local presenters throughout the year.
The GREATER CINCINNATI CHAPTER of AOSA
was chartered on April 26, l970 and
was the seventh chapter to be chartered in the United States.
For the past thirty-eight years this strong, active chapter has been dedicated
to bringing workshop participants the best of Orff teaching techniques that are available
