A Gift from Stanley Rowland !

Thanks to chapter member and a founding parent of the Cincinnati Chapter - Stan Rowland ,
we now have the complete boxed-set of Leonard Bernstein's "Young People's Concerts" in our video library!

These acclaimed concerts were originally telecast around the world in the 60's & early 70's, featuring the New York Philharmonic under the direction of Bernstein himself, and won multiple Emmy, Peobody, and Edison awards for their outstanding contribution to music education. Our collection contains 10 videos, each featuring two or three 50-60 minute concerts. Titles of concerts include "What Does Music Mean?", What is Melody?", "What is American Music?" , and many more. They are truly a national treasure and we are very fortunate to have them and offer them for our chapter members & their students to enjoy!

Each of these videos may be borrowed by any chapter member for a mailing and handling costs. A complete list of the videos and concert titles, as well as video request forms will be awailable at chapter workshops and can be found on our web page.
